It is not often I look everywhere for a certain movie. Fredric March and Olivia DeHavilland were spectacular in this movie.
There are so many facets to this movie and more than one climax. I thought it ended too quickly but so much of his life was covered and so well written.
We need more movies like this one. Imagine, no ***, no foul language, you don't see any blood let alone the act of violence. They are terrific movies you can watch with your kids. So much history of Bonapart and the British is shown and I think it is wonderful. Anything that challenges my morales is invigorating and the "Classics" have it all.
I see this movie on TCM and wonder how they can keep showing it but we cannot purchase it.
